TRUCKMATE is the first portable sat nav system to include dedicated routing designed specifically for trucks and large vehicles - plus Snooper's multi award winning speed camera location technology. First launched on the S2000 with a 4.3" LCD display in 2007, Truckmate has been a huge success and welcomed by drivers and fleet operators alike. The Snooper S7000 TRUCKMATE satellite navigation system is the result of many months of development based on our research of the industry and feedback from the 1000's of truck drivers already using Truckmate. As a result Truckmate is the most comprehensive portable sat nav system designed specifically for trucks on the market. Truckmate uses Navteq transport data at it's core, but Truckmate is further enhanced but 1000's more attributes combining to give far more comprehensive cover of hazards on more roads than any other system on the market.

The S7000 incorporates all the features of the S2000 Truckmate but incorporates a large 7" display. This larger format display makes it much easier to view any potential hazards to your vehicle such as weight and height restrictions, plus it makes it possible to display all turn-by-turn routing instructions in a larger format making them much easier and safer to read whilst driving.

In fact everything about S7000 Truckmate is bigger and better. It is easier to enter addresses and scroll through the systems menu as the on-screen button sizes are bigger and easier to press. Plus the S7000 incorporates more features including TMC traffic information, Bluetooth handsfree and DVB-T digital free to air television*. You can even attach a reversing camera!

*Please note that DVB-T will only operate in areas with a digital TV service. Reception will vary based on your location. An external antenna is included for areas with poor reception.

TRUCKMATE has the answer. This unique software will create a route based on the attributes of your particular vehicle. Simply tell the unit the size and weight of your vehicle, plus the type of load if applicable and Snooper’s TRUCKMATE software will calculate a safe, truck friendly route. Routes will be calculated based on roads with adequate width and height, excluding
roads with low bridges or weight restrictions plus
many other hazards.

It's not just about routing to avoid hazards. Truckmate's unique routing algorithm ensures that where possible larger vehicles are only taken on appropriate roads. No other sat nav system on the market creates routes in the same way.

Truckmate uses Navteq transport data to provide the core truck data. However Truckmate also incorporates additional information ensuring more comprehensive cover than other sat navs using the standard Navteq package. Truckmate offers greater cover on smaller, narrower roads where it is most needed. TMC Traffic information technology - FREE of charge!
As a driver you will know the importance of needing to know exactly what lies ahead. Accurate and reliable information is a must to ensure that you get to your destination on time. Snooper's TMC information is provided by ITIS probably the best traffic information provider in the UK. Traffic information is fed from 100's of thousands of vehicles and sensors across the country providing up to the second information. It's reach and accuracy is far better than those systems that use fixed sensors only providing a considerably higher level of service. 

The TMC service will alert you to all traffic incidents across the country and lists them in distance order from your current position. As well as this overview however you can also choose to monitor traffic incidents that are specific to the route you have programmed on the system. And, if there is congestion on your route you can simply ask Ventura to automatically find a route around it.

Bluetooth Handsfree Technology
Stay on the right side of the law. This is equipped with Bluetooth Handsfree Technology so that if you do have to take a call whilst you are on the move you can do so safely, with both hands still on the steering wheel. Also available as an optional extra is an extension microphone perfect for vehicles which generate a lot of background noise. The microphone can be installed permanently or temporarily and ensures that you will always be heard clearly. The microphone can be purchased seperately for £9.99 inc vat.

Built-in MP3 player
Comes complete with a built-in MP3 player. Now you can navigate to your destination whilst listening to you favourite music at the same time. Ventura comes with a headphone socket so you can plug in headphones, but it is also possible to plug in an FM transmitter (not included) enabling you to transmit both the navigation instructions and your music through your vehicles car stereo.
